With our central location in the heart of Keswick, there are plenty of walks right on our doorstep and further afield that you and your four legged friend can take advantage of on a weekend away at the Inn on the Square. It’s not unusual for our guests to ask us to recommend good walks in the Lake District, so to help out we have produced our very own walking book, ‘Hike & Bike’, which contains 16 scenic walks and 10 cycle routes.
A walking break in the Lakes is a fabulous experience to share with family and loved ones, taking in Britain’s finest scenery, of lakes, woodlands, fells, beautiful valleys and gorges. For many of us, dogs are considered part of the family too, so why should they have to miss out on all the fun… bring them along with you!
Over 40 local bed & breakfast owners, shop owners and suppliers gathered at the Inn on the Square, Keswick, on Tuesday 14th June, to celebrate the hotels first birthday and a successful first year of business.
At the Inn on the Square we’re looking forward to the 3rd, 4th & 5th of June as the Keswick Beer Festival celebrates it’s 20th anniversary. The beer festival has continued to grown in popularity, with visitors travelling from all over the UK to attend. Famous for great beer, cider and excellent bands on Friday night and Saturday.
