Our first Japanese night took place last night and was a huge success, with positive feedback from our guests and a few of them re-booking for another one of our Japanese nights in November.
Do you like sushi? At Brossen Steakhouse we love it! So we have teamed up with Fyne Fish of Cockermouth to host Japanese nights, every Wednesday throughout November. Why not join us and enjoy a Japanese menu brimming with fusion flavours including sushi and sashimi, freshly prepared alongside Fyne Fish on the night.
We’d like to introduce Adrian Wood, head chef at the award-winning AA rosette Brossen Steakhouse at the Inn on the Square to our followers. Adrian joined the steakhouse from his role as sous chef at Lyzzick Hall outside Keswick. Originally from a background of chefs, Adrian followed in the family footsteps, which led him down a path of catering hospitality; from hotels, contract catering, to teaching in colleges, all of which has had a huge influence on his cooking style.
15 months since the Inn on the Square opened their doors and the management and staff have been celebrating following on from a recent AA inspection, where they retained their four star and AA rosette status for a second year running.
Are you a locavore? For most, you might not know what a locavore is, let alone realise that you might be one. The newly coined term refers to connecting food producers with consumers in a local area, following the increased interest in the local food movement, aiming to reduce the carbon footprint of food and support local food producers and suppliers.
The Rum Dinner Experience.. enjoy an evening celebrating the tastes and history of rum at the Inn on the Square in Keswick. With a three course rum-themed menu, cocktails & masterclass presented by former winner of ‘World Bartender of the Year’, cocktail mixologist and renowned rum enthusiast Rod Nisbet.
From opening the doors to Brossen Steakhouse in June 2015, it was clear to see it was an instant hit with our guests, as well as the locals. Diners love the open kitchen, which lets you watch the thrill of the grill and see your steak being lovingly prepared by the experts. For those of you that live far away and are unable to visit us, we wanted to give you a sneak-peak behind the scenes at the award-winning AA Rosette Brossen Steakhouse.
